Kai had his school end of the year program last Wednesday. He was SUPER excited about it as they had been practicing for weeks. They did a great job and were super cute. The program consisted of lots of singing, dancing, some sign language, and each student reading in to the microphone while displaying a picture they had drawn about what they want to be when they grow up- Kai picked a pilot. The teacher also called each student up individually and gave them a candy that represented something about them. Kai was given the Mr. Goodbar. :)
The last official day of school was Thursday. Kai was excited about summer starting but a little sad to say goodbye to his classmates. Picking him up that last day I felt a little teary myslef. It is strange when you can clearly see big life chapters coming to a close. We are excited for full day kindergarten next year, but this has been a good year. We are so grateful that he ended up with such good friends in his class this year. The 3 boys standing to Kai's left in the program were all great buddies this year (all he needed was to stick Cooper in there too- we've missed him these last few months). It has been nice to have a more flexible schedule this week, but I will have to get it more together here soon before the boredom sets in.

They looked so cute! It's sort of sad (ok, super sad!) to see them all standing together without him.
