Last Summer Moments

We wrapped up summer with a few last fun things.

We met up with our friends the Swenson's at the Zoo who were visiting from Vegas:

All the kids went to the dentist and got all sorts of goodies like these superhero capes:

Summer grocery shopping with all 3 kids is only made slightly better when they can pretend to be the "Rocket Ship Sisters" as their brother crashes/ pushes them through the store:

Super fun date night at Deer Valley for the Nashville Concert:

Met up with our friends the Wadsworth's to check out the Ogden Temple Open House:

Kai competed in the end of the summer Swim Championships and swept all of his events:

Got in one last visit with our favorite Audiologist Kim Niday.  Now that Rori will no longer be under the School for the Deaf we can't go to her anymore.  Boo!!!!  She has been a miracle to us:

Rainbow spotting after lots of end of summer storms:

Lots of fun at the driving range with their new clubs:

Rori's 6th Birthday

Happy 6th Birthday to our Rori girl!  She is so loving and thoughtful.  Rori really does have a heart of gold and is such a pleaser.  She is super caring and sensitive to the feeling and emotions of others.  She loves to cuddle and do special things with just Mom or Dad.  Rori has worked very hard this past year and has taken some huge strides forward as a result.  She asks tons of questions and loves stories and her tv shows.  We have enjoyed seeing her really interact more in conversation with her peers over this last year.  She likes her new pink hearing aids and is proud to show them off.  She also loves music and can often be found making up her own songs or asking us to turn up the music in the car so she can sing along.  This is really pretty neat.  She is also super athletic and continues to love soccer, running super fast, and swimming.  Rori and Zuri have really developed a neat sister relationship and have so much fun playing with each other which is great since they will be spending a lot more time together with Rori only going to 1/2 day kindergarten.  We love her so much and are so proud of her.

For her birthday this year Rori had some friends over for a backyard splash party.  They colored Palace Pets pages, made a foam craft, did an obstacle course (created by Kai), played with water balloons and a big toy sprinkler, and popped balloons that had candy in them.  She had lots of fun!
