Pioneer Day Parade

We were able to participate in this years Children's Pioneer Day Parade.  Pioneer Day is a huge holiday here in Utah on July 24- think fireworks, big parades all over the State, days off work etc.  The Children's parade was the Saturday before the actual holiday.  Local Church Stake Primaries gets invited about every 6 years to participate so we were glad to be in town and get to be a part of it.  Some pretty amazingly talented people from the neighborhood designed and built the float.  We were way impressed.  It ended up actually winning the best float award which was pretty neat.  After the parade they had a huge play area set up for the kids with tons of different activities.  It was a neat UT experience for our kids and we were grateful for the opportunity to take part.
