Happy 9th Birthday to the sweetest boy around! These past 9 years have gone by so quickly. Kai is truly an all around great kid. He loves to learn about everything and really enjoys school as a result. He loves reading and devours books as quickly as he can get his hands on them. Once he gets a new book he is lost to us for the day. This summer alone he has swept through several series. He also loves sports and seems to excel at them all almost immediately. Football is currently his favorite, but he also has really enjoyed basketball, volleyball, swimming, baseball, and golf so far. He also took right to knee boarding, paddle-boarding, and surfing this summer. Kai is kind, thoughtful, and a confident natural leader which draws all sorts of kids around him. We can't wait to see where the future takes him.
For his birthday this year he invited some boys to go bowling. They had lots of fun and it was a good way to entertain boys which seem to have a lot of energy at this age.

9 Years!! How can that be?? August 11, 2005 was one of the best days of my life!! ... My first grandchild!! Kai, you were the cutest baby and now you are one handsome kid!! Look like bowling was a hit... Or strike!!
