We've been keeping busy with our Spring Sports this year. It has been especially fun to have Grandpa Utah cheering on the kids at most of their games.
Kai was excited to get to play first base on his baseball team. This was his first time playing machine pitch (it was coach at this age in Vegas) and he seemed to pick it right up. He was a very consistent hitter on his team and could be counted on for strong singles and doubles. This has been a fun sports year for Kai since he has been on the older end of all of his teams and has really had a chance to be a leader.
We had Rori do Impact United Soccer for the first time. It was great as only 4 kids play on the field at a time. She loved every second of it and had a great coach that really taught the kids a ton even though they are pretty young. Her team ended up being undefeated and Rori was one of the leading scorers. She is definitely in her element playing soccer. She keeps score in her head and wants to be on the field playing every moment (which isn't always the case for other 5 year olds on the team).
