We just got back from our annual trip to Lake Powell. Our kids have been looking forward to this trip for a long time now and were so excited. We had a great time and got to do lots of our favorite Lake Powell things. All 3 kids had a great trip and were so good. Zuri was brave about jumping in the cool water and swimming and even took some great naps on the boat after all day on the water adventures which made dinner times much better for all of us. Rori loves swimming, but her true love is going on fast bumpy rides on the tube. We all laughed about how she was constantly giving the thumb up sign to speed up. Both girls loved their time with all their cousins, but especially loved hanging out with Ella. Kai also loves the water and had a great time exploring the islands we would anchor by and getting in the water every chance he got with Kennedy and Jack. He also loved getting some time on the knee board again. He was doing a great job figuring out turning a bit at the end which is really fun. His last run was at the end of the day when it was starting to get cool and a little choppy and he wasn't phased a bit. We spend all day on the boat and then the kids can hardly wait to get back to the hotel to swim at the pool. Needless to say everyone sleeps well at night. We missed the Mullins this year who sadly weren't able to make it at the last minute. Many thanks to Grandpa Utah and all those that made this summer getaway trip possible! Our kids banked so many more great memories.
