Lance starts back to school this week so we decided to take advantage of his last study free Saturday for awhile and go on an adventure. We headed out to Red Rock Canyon for a hike and a picnic lunch. We chose a hike called "Children's Discovery" that led us up to a waterfall. It was a rocky climb at times but the kids handled it well and we all had a good time. We brought the backpack for Rori just incase and she rode in it for a grand total of about 5 minutes. I can't imagine the hiking being super fun when things heat up here in Vegas, but it was perfect weather at this time of year for it and a great reminder of some of the beautiful things here in the desert. It made for a good adventure.

How funny! You just can't get away from Children's Discovery. Looks fun.
