O Christmas Tree

All 3 kids were full in to decorating the Christmas tree this year.  It was fun to have Grandpa with us and get to show him some of our favorite decorations.  So much of our stuff is split between the UT house, the Vegas house, and storage these days that it was really nice to have some of our familiar Christmas stuff.  Most all of the ornaments we put on the tree have a special story to them.  Every year we have a new picture ornament of the kids with the year marked prominently.  We've done one every year since Kai's first Christmas and they are so fun to look back at for all of us.  They are for sure my favorites.  This year we really just let the kids put the ornaments where they liked.  We were a bit heavy on the bottom of the tree since they can only reach so high but it was nice to sit back and watch them having fun.  Our tree might not look very fancy but I love that it tells a story so much more.  It was fun to play our Christmas music with the snow outside and get in to the spirit of the season.
