Fall 2013 Sports

Rori's been playing lots of soccer which she has really enjoyed.  She's super fast and usually the one to catch up to the other team when they have a break away.  The coach has let her play a ton in the games which we've felt a tad guilty about as other kids have spent a lot more time on the sidelines.  She loves it though and is happy to keep going.

Kai has been loving flag football.  He will tell you that football is currently his favorite sport.  He tends to fall in love with whatever he is playing at the moment so we will see.  The flag football here has definitely been much more relaxed than in Vegas.  We figured it would be as it was at a very high level in Vegas and we knew that this was just a rec league.  Kai has had fun though and has enjoyed being a much needed leader on his team.  He's thrown passes as quarterback, scored a bunch of touchdowns, and last game he even intercepted the ball in his endzone and then ran it back for a touchdown which was super exciting.  He's gained a lot of confidence which has been great and kept a great attitude despite some possibly frustrating things out of his control.
