Happy Holidays!

We're in the full swings of December = presents, parties, programs and on and on. We have Christmas music playing most of the day- and Kai is an expert at his favorites like Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and Frosty the Snowman. The Christmas tree is up and making the whole house smell inviting and cozy. We have an Elf living with us- more on that in another post. And it is so exciting to be 4 years old and a1 year old at Christmas time-probably the most exciting it will ever be. It really is such a magical time of year!

Tonight the forecast calls for snow which is lots more fun on the weekend. The kids have been enjoying the first few storms we've had. They've had fun helping us clear the driveway and sidewalks. And yes a paint roller does work wonders in the snow- if you are 4 years old.

Now if only we can get the 5000 things on our to do list for the next few weeks done. All of it is overwhelming but one thing at a time isn't so bad. Today we worked on some treats to give away. My helpers were not very good at hiding the evidence of what they did with the leftover melted chocolate.
