Sunday Afternoon in the Leaves

We piled up some leaves in the backyard and had a leaf party.  It entertained all the kids for over 2 hours.  Awesome fun! 

 

Pumpkins

Our annual pumpkin carving went well this year.  We thought it was pretty cool that Rori picked out a white pumpkin.  We like that she isn't afraid to do her own thing.  She actually decorated one side and then carved the other which was fun.  Kai designed his on his own and only needed minor assistance.  Zuri was mostly interested in getting messy and coloring.   

 

A Fall Saturday

One of my fond Fall memories of living in UT before was going and seeing the witches at Gardner Village.  Kai loved it when he was little and I was really excited to get all the kids and Lance there to experience the fun.  They have a scavenger hunt for the kids each year which they really enjoy.  We had great weather and had lots of fun seeing all the witches and exploring.  Afterward we went over to Great Grandms Flynn's house for a visit and had a blast playing in the beautiful colors in her backyard.   

 

 

 

Fall Break/ UEA

The kids and I made a trip down to Las Vegas for Fall Break to visit Lance.  It was great to get to spend so much time together as a family at one shot even though Lance was at work during the days.  It felt a bit strange to bounce back in to our old world so fast.  We were back in a familiar house with a lot of our stuff that we hadn't seen for quite awhile.  We played and swam, visited friends, went to the pumpkin patch,went to the Children's Museum, and tried to get in some of our favorite things there.  The time went by way too fast and before we knew it we were saying goodbye to Lance again for another week.
