A Very Merry Christmas 2009

We had a very Merry Christmas. We're slow on posting because....well....we've been busy.

We had a great Chritmas in San Diego with Grandma and Grandpa Whitney. The Monday before Christmas the kids and I took off for CA. We hadn't seen my parents since August so we were really excited. The days before Christmas were spent playing with Grandma and Gandpa and Whitney, searching for sea shells at the beach, riding bikes, playing lots of music, attending the Poinsettia Bowl Battle of the Bands on the Midway, and going to the actual Poinsettia Bowl.

It was especially fun to be at the game this year since the University of Utah was one of the teams. The neighborhood we live in is very Utah red (we live so close) so many of our neighbors would be proud of the support we were giving Utah. Kai was in Heaven with it ALL- especially since he loves Football and Bands.

Lance came in on Christmas Eve and joined us for the final stages of pre-Christmas excitement. Kai could barely handle it when Christmas morning finally rolled around. Santa was very good to all of us. Both kids were thrilled with their gifts and it was so fun to see the pure joy on both of their faces as they opened things up.

We spent the next few days cheering for the Chargers, going to Sea World, getting in a few of our other favorite San Deigo foods, and playing more music. Many thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Whitney for a fabulous Christmas!
