Kai has been taking a childrens art class with some kids in the neighborhood. After art class we've been heading over to the new beautiful library for an awesome storytime. Good times on Wednesday mornings. Here is one of his masterpieces.



Kai is also recently obsessed with his magnetic drawing board. Here is one of my latest masterpieces entitled "PapaWhitney".

In September??

Yep, that's snow you see falling at our house yesterday. Crazy!



Today it's back to Fall though with a slight dusting of white on the mountains as a reminder.

A few shots from our trip to San Diego

I attended a conference at the Hotel Del Coronado. Ashleigh and Kai came along for some time in one of our favorite places with our favorite people.

I found time to work in a little golf, with Ashleigh's dad, Mark, at Torrey Pines South Course, home of the 2008 U.S. Open. Thanks, Mark!

Kai was privileged to attend the second grade with his grandma.

We went to Mt. Soledad, and found the plaque that is dedicated to Great Grandpa Michael, honoring his service in World War II.

We also made a quick trip to our beloved alma mater - Pepperdine. Apparently no pictures survived that trip, but Ashleigh and Kai were able to have lunch at Howdy's.

It was great trip and we look forward to San Diego for part of the holidays.
