4th Annual EQ Street Taco Party

Last night was the 4th Annual EQ Street Taco Party. Everyone looks forward to this every year. The food is so good!

Wednesday night we went and helped cook and chop the meat and then last night Lance and Kai once again made their homemade rootbeer at the party.

They had a great turn out (probably 150+) and the weather held just fine. It is a fun tradition. Great job to Lance and the other guys for pulling off another great street taco party.

Long Weekend at the Cabin

We took a family trip up to the Cabin this weekend. Lance worked on Monday so he could take off Friday. So, Thursday night we headed up to Bear Lake and then came back Sunday afternoon. It was a great getaway. Highlights included:

Lance also went golfing, we drove all the way around the lake, we enjoyed some rasberry shakes, and took some naps. It was a fun trip!

Last Preschool Fieldtrip

Today was the last day of our neighborhood preschool. This has been a great experience. The key was doing it with 2 Mom's who were on the same page- creative, dependable, organized etc. I think it was the perfect answer for this year. Next year all 3 kids will head to a local traditional preschool. We've heard great things about it and I really think Kai will love it.

We wrapped up the year with a fieldtrip to downtown. We rode TRAX (the train) to downtown, ate lunch and wandered around at Temple Square, and then explored the Planetarium. This month we were sturdying transportation (land, air, water, and space) so it was a fun way to wrap it all up. The kids had a blast and the weather was great so it was fun for all.
